Guillermo Castillo is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The Ohio State University. From 2014 to 2017, he was with the Department of Automation and Control at the Escuela Politecnica Nacional. His research interests include control systems, motion planning, and safety testing for legged robots. In particular, he works on the integration of learning-based techniques with control systems to develop robust feedback controllers that realize dynamic locomotion. He received the Fulbright Scholarship in 2017 and the Presidential Fellowship at The Ohio State University in 2023.
