Upama Pant received her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at The Ohio State University in July 2026 and joined Tesla. Her research in the Cyberbotics Lab focused on mechatronic system design, control and planning for dynamic legged robotic systems, and assistive technologies. She has prior experience in human-centered robotics, including prosthetic design, wearable gait-sensing devices, as well as in industrial maintenance across high-speed beverage manufacturing lines and the automotive sector.
